The first release of Census 2011 data is available on Newham Info from 16th of July 2012. These datasets contain counts of males and females by five-year age band for local authorities in England and Wales, counts of total occupied households, and short-term migrants. These counts represent the best estimate for the authority's population.
The Census tables are accessible via the Census 2011 page. Here you can download the files and also view the data via interactive atlases and reports. Further Census 2011 data will be made available on this site as it is released.
