The new statistics portal,
replaces the previous portal, and provides you with easier access
to current data at different geographic levels across Newham.
Also it provides the ability to make comparisons with London boroughs
using interactive mapping and automated reports.
This area of NIMS will be constantly updated as new data becomes available. |

| Data selection is based on user consultation designed for the needs of:
Council Officers (seeking up-to-date statistics), Newham’s partners
(wishing to compare their own with other partners’ data), Newham Councillors
(wanting access to information about their wards), Newham residents and the wider
public (to serve the need for more local information). |

| Data is grouped under headings (themes) of Economy, Education, Crime, Health, Benefits,
Population and Performance Information that are expected to grow as new data interest areas appear. |
| Display Methods |
There are several options for viewing data. You can easily move between different
types of views including Atlases, Reports and Data Views to see data at different geographies
and for different time periods. These are explained in more detail below and
throughout the statistics portal by using step by step guidance. |
