Focus On Newham
Focus on Newham is a series publication created to provide a profile of Newham, its people and local conditions. It describes, explores and analyses relevant information about Newham so that policy makers, service planners, businesses and the general public can use a knowledge base from which to make decisions. It has been published since 2002, and the most current information available has been used in each document, and where possible the most relevant geography, such as 2001 wards, community forums, and other small areas (e.g. Super Output areas).

Focus on Newham 2007, local people and local conditions is the fifth edition of this publication which brings together a wide range of data and statistical information to provide a comprehensive picture of Newham from one source.
This edition highlights the growing disparity between official population estimates for the borough with the evidence provided from administrative sources of data and highlights the potential impact on performance indicators. It also builds on the time-series analysis that has featured in previous editions.

Focus on Newham 2006 is the fourth edition of a regular publication which brings together a wide variety of data and statistical information to provide a comprehensive picture of Newham from one source.
This edition seeks to look at Newham within a London context as well as looking at comparative areas within Newham. It also continues to provide time-series analysis wherever possible, to identify trends and changes.
